Virtual Bags Available Soon

We have partnered with Virtual Race Bags to produce a ‘virtual goodie bag’ in an effort to ‘go green’ and provide additional benefits to our participants. As a participant of this year’s event you will receive a ‘Welcome’ email invitation to the Virtual Goody Bag prior to the event giving you access to the bag.

In the bag you will find an array of valuable information including exclusive offers, coupons, giveaways and messages from our sponsors. But wait, there’s more! After the event, participants will receive a ‘Thank You’ email invitation to visit their bag and have a final opportunity to take advantage of the offers and goodies before the bag closes – as the bag is only available for a limited time.

So watch for the Virtual Race Bag and Get Your Green On!

Run-beginning-4Every child and teen participating in the On Your Mark with Highmark Youth Challenge is a winner!

This popular fitness program encourages children to take part in community footraces by either running or walking the 5K distance. Each child 6 to 12* who completes one community footrace—or each youth 13 to 18* who completes two community footraces—receives free registration to The Great Race 5K courtesy of Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield.

Since this is not a competitive activity, everyone is a victor for simply taking on the challenge.
