The Run Around the Square, in its 40th year, is now the largest neighborhood footrace in Pittsburgh.

The Run Around the Square is operated as a fundraiser supporting local Regent Square community nonprofits .  In 2023, the race donated $36,000 to local nonprofits.  Over the last five runs, the Race donated nearly $169,000 in total.
